I have made up my mind.
It is official.
After talking to my lawyer, my mom, and some of my best friends...I have decided.
I am not going to let one person come in and ruin what I've built over the past four years.
That is not what I'm about.
I am keeping my family blog, but instead of being at our old blog (which uses our last name), it will be at a new blog called The Urth Mama.

I know I said I was going to use Skinny Tuesday, but I was just thinking outloud while I was trying to clear up this mess.
I want a blog that is about OUR FAMILY, and OUR LIFE, and a blog named Skinny Tuesday just doesn't fit in with that.
There have been so many twists and turns in this little saga I'm calling Courtney-Gate (b/c that was what Paprika was named in one of the stolen photos).
I'm hoping my NEW BLOG will be a place we can start fresh. The archive is up, and it'll stay that way. I am going to be making some changes to it for security, but it will still be visible.
So, from now on, I'll be seeing you at my new blog, The Urth Mama!

Yes, I'm still with you. I've been keeping up with all of this with my mouth hanging open. Unbelievable. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Your children are beautiful, but to have someone claim them as their own is horrible. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your new blog life. I enjoy reading of your everyday adventures.
I've wanted to copyright my photos (not that they are great just that they are MINE) but I don't know how to go about that. I even thought of putting my name on them as a lot of other bloggers have done, but I don't have the fancy photo editing software to do it. How did you make your pictures unavailable when someone right clicks? Can it be used on Blogger? Might be a good post topic!

I'm here. My mouth dropped open when I saw you're calling this fiasco Courtney-gate. That's my daughters name! How fitting considering her identity was also stolen my an internet thief.
I researched a way to prevent right click/save but apparently it does not work well with Firefox? As the window pops up but the ability to right click is still there. What's your secret?

Wow, you know what? Before I knew what happened, I stopped by your old site yesterday and was suprised (and disappointed!) to find you had gone private. Then on MckMama's forum, I heard about the photo stealing, and wondered if it had happened to you...wow. It did- I'm so sorry. Looking forward to following this one though! Have a good weekend:)

I posted about all of this on my triplet forum and a woman pointed me in this direction. Ironically, turns out that you're the friend I was referring to in my original post.
I'm glad you're keeping your blog, and I'm glad you're pursuing charges.
I was able to print out a pdf of the first page of the blog in question, with all the photos on it. If you need that, just let me know and I'll email it to you. I wasn't able to print out the second page, or any of the comments because it had been shut down by then, but I happened to still have the first page open in my browser window, which is why I was able to print the pdf.
I'm bookmarking this new blog and will follow you over here.
