2 1/2 Year Doc Visit

Paprika had her 2.5 year well-child visit today. It went great! She is 37.25 inches, and weighs 34 pounds. Temperature is right at 98.6. They checked her iron levels, and they were great. Iron levels are supposed to be above 11, and hers were over 13. They checked her lungs, all clear. Heart- sounds good. Eyes and ears, both perfect. She has a little lingering cough from being sick, but they said that since her lungs are fine, then it's nothing to be concerned about. They did a blood draw to check her for lead exposure (results take 3 weeks). The nurse said she expected Paprika to cry during the blood draw, but instead, Paprika said, "Oh look! It's red!!!" So, she definitely wasn't traumatized by that.

We were at the office forever- between all the tests, meeting with the doctor, nurses, and of course waiting for the appointment in the waiting room. Paprika had such a great time playing with all the toys at the doctor's office that she didn't want to leave, which I thought was pretty darn funny!
