After we cancelled our movers last minute, it kinda freed up the day. So, yesterday, as we had the whole afternoon with nothing to do, we went and goofed off at the park. Paprika loves feeding the ducks and seagulls so that's what we did first thing.

she had loads of fun!
I tried to get Ginger interested in feeding the ducks, but she just wanted to eat the bread. And it was pretty good bread, too...as I had tossed all our stale bread the day before (it was blue and green- yech!) Anyway, so this was our fresh bread, and Ginger really just wanted to eat it and not share with the ducks. Which was okay by me.
Then I put Ginger down in the grass.
She thought it was pretty cool.
For a few minutes...
Then she realized I wasn't holding her...and in her own baby way, she said...
I'm...
Gonna....
Getcha!!!
And that was the end of her time in the grass! Then we went to the Botanical Gardens, and then to lunch at our favorite local hamburger stand, where we shared french fries and a chocolate shake. Fun!

how the heck do you get that girl to keep her headband on? JL tries to EAT hers...je suis jealous. she is so sweet with that "getcha" face. can you believe how big these kids are getting? tear....
Sorry about the house deal falling through, but love the memory your family made in place of a frustrating day.
