She Got Her Wish!

On Monday, we went to Disneyland! If you remember, back when Paprika was sick two weeks ago, all she kept saying was that she wanted to go to Disneyland and eat popcorn...

Well, dreams really do come true, folks! ;-) We spent the whole day riding rides and eating buckets of popcorn.

We rode all our favorite rides at Disneyland and then went to California Adventure for the second half of the day, and then we went back to Disneyland just in time to see fireworks and squeeze in one last ride!

The girls especially love It's A Small World (aka "the dolly ride"):

We rode it twice, but I think they would have stayed on it all day if we'd let them!

Ginger wanted to explore the park on foot, and kept trying to run through the crowd to the rides she wanted to go on. She's two feet tall but she thinks she's five foot ten!

I had to hold on to her tight! And, yes, she's still obsessed with that pumpkin hat. I managed to get her to wear a Minnie Mouse hat in honor of the occasion for a little while, but her go-to hat is still the pumpkin hat. She never wants to take it off! Ha!

We spent a few hours over at California Adventure (Disneyland's sister theme park, right next door), and then came back to Disneyland and stayed until closing time.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle looks so pretty at night, you can almost believe those are snowflakes and icicles.

Main Street is decorated to the nines with magical Christmas decorations.

And the Christmas tree is truly something to behold!

I love going to Disneyland when it's decorated for Christmas (but before the Christmas crowds arrive)! It was an awesome day, and I am so glad that Paprika had that wish for Disneyland popcorn...we got all that and then some!

We live in Las Vegas, so not to far! I'd love to take my son someday. We just had his 1st Birthday party this weekend, although he doesn't turn 1 until the 21st. We will be in Arkansas seeing my family at that time. I can't wait to take him here someday though! Looks so pretty!
