Our weekend went by in a whirl, and already I find myself at Tuesday...how did it get to be Tuesday?
Here are some of the highlights of our weekend!
The return to ballet class! One of Paprika's best friends is in the class (the little girl at the end of the line). She came over and had an all-day playdate on Saturday after ballet. So fun!

especially the ones that were not quite ripe!
We put a cap on the weekend with the fireworks display at the beach. It was amazing. Warm weather, not even a breeze, and clear skies. We kept hemming and hawing all day, wondering if we should go (because you know, it might be hard to find a place to park). Last minute, we piled into the car and what do you know, we found a parking spot 2 blocks from the beach (and it was the only parking spot for a mile).
I am so glad we went and hope to make it a yearly tradition!
After the show was over, we skipped over to Islands for dinner (even though it was past the girls' bedtimes)...and had a great dinner together.
Sometimes things just go really right. Like this night, which I will always remember. It doesn't get any better than this:

Is there a little boy in her class? I'm so glad she decided she likes it again. What happened to the piano lessons?
The girls are so cute. Love the shots with dad.
sarah- yes, a little boy. he is actually one of the best dancers- lol! she is still going to take piano lessons one day/week. i am not 100% sure that her interest in ballet will stick- we shall see! :-)
