Fa-La-La-La-La!

It's December!  On Friday, we went to our local "Candycane Lane" - which is an area near us that has the most impressive Christmas lights!  Since it was still November on Friday, I wasn't expecting much...but surprisingly, everyone had their lights already on display!  It was amazing - and there wasn't any traffic.  Last year we went later in December, and it was like a parking lot!

I didn't take any photos, since it was a spur-of-the moment trip.  I figure we'll go a few more times before Christmas.  Sometimes it's nice just to take a drive with the girls, listen to Christmas music, and see the holiday lights sparkle. 

On Saturday, my friend Paula and I took the girls to a local stage production of The Little Mermaid while Mr. M stayed home with Violet.  The musical was put on by a local kids' theater troupe, and it was adorable!  Paprika had a wonderful time and enjoyed every second of it.  Ginger was great during Act 1, but by intermission she was a little wiggly.  ;-)  In her defense, it was a long show (over 2 hours) - so I was surprised she lasted so long.  At the end, Paprika got to meet Ariel and get her autograph.  Exciting!

In other news, Paprika's first tooth fell out last night!  So, it was Tooth Fairy time around here!  She wrote an adorable letter to the Tooth Fairy, and the Tooth Fairy wrote her one back.  I'll have to write another post about that to mark the occasion.  Ginger had another visit from the Potty Fairy (sometimes the Potty Fairy forgets to visit - haha).  But last night the Potty Fairy hitched a ride with the Tooth Fairy, and all was well in our house!  ;-)
