Cars!

On Sunday afternoon, we did something we haven't done in a long time. We went Go-Kart racing! We used to go all the time when Paprika was a baby (and before), but we just haven't gone in awhile. We found some old play cards with money left on them kicking around, and so we figured we'd go have some fun. Paprika was really excited!

The place is also an arcade, so we had fun playing the games for awhile.



It was nothing new for Paprika. Since we used to go here all the time with her, it was old hat to her.

This is Paprika back at 19 months old, just a little older than Ginger is now. I was already 8 weeks pregnant with Vivian and Annemarie when I took this picture:



Of course, now Ginger is just about the same age that Paprika was, and she had just as much fun pretending to play:



We had fun bowling. Paprika bowled the best out of all of us. Ginger got to try, too. I think she felt very grown up!



Then it was time for the main event. Ginger had to watch from afar because you have to be at least 42 inches tall to ride passenger in the go-karts. But she was cool with it. She was taking it all in.



It was Paprika's first time actually riding in the go-karts. Mr. Mustard and I used to just take turns and go by ourselves when Paprika was Ginger's age. Paprika was really nervous and didn't want to go at all at first.



But then she really warmed up to the idea and had the best time!



So, we switched off taking Paprika around the track while the other one of us entertained (and chased) Ginger around. It was a lot of fun! Ahhhh, memories!
