Ladybug Girl At The Beach!

11-16-10-1

It is a good thing that Ginger has herself wrapped so tightly around my heart. It's a good thing she's so cute.

I'm just sayin'! ;-)

This is what happened when I went to the bathroom for two minutes to wash my face this morning:

It is now very hard to type on my computer. I will try to use fewer words with the letters Q, W, E, and S. Oh, yeah right! ;-)

Well, that could not deter us from having a good day. Paprika has been wanting to act out Ladybug Girl At The Beach, one of her favorite books. If you have young kids, you should check it out. It's really cute.

So, after I picked her up from preschool, I surprised her with a trip to the beach! I made sure to bring her Ladybug Girl things, namely her wings, swimsuit and shovel.

Ginger was so excited to go, too!

It was a perfect afternoon at the beach, and we stayed until after the sun went down. You know, around 3pm due to the time change. Okay, not really...we stayed until 6!

Ginger was trying to figure out the whole walking on sand thing...

11-16-10-4

Kind of like getting your sea legs. Maybe she was getting her sand legs?

But she got the hang of it. And then she was dancing!

Ladybug Girl ran in and out of the water until it was almost too dark to see!

A beautiful afternoon with my two beach babies!

I had the exact same thing happen to my keyboard! I wonder if everyone with kids is missing a key or two... LOL!

Loved the pictures. Very calming way for me to start the day.
I have a Lenovo ThinkPad and yes, I let my grandson Charlie sit in my lap when I'm on the computer. If your sweet Ginger can do that I'm sure his strong little fingers could pry the letters off too. Thanks for the heads up, but mostly for the beautiful pictures and sharing your family. I really enjoy my daily girlie fix.
