From The Side

From the side, these two look so much alike at this age. The above picture is from 2008, Paprika at 17 months or so. The below picture is Ginger a few weeks ago at 15 months.

I am packing up today, getting ready to head to Indiana to see my Grandpa. I wish this was a social visit when I could visit old friends- but unfortunately, I don't think it's going to be that kind of trip.

Mr. Mustard is staying in LA for work, and so I will be travelling with both girls by myself. I am having anxiety about the cross-country trek (3 planes and a layover). I imagine that flying with Ginger is going to be like trying to hold a 25 pound wild raccoon on my lap for 12 hours straight. Hopefully it will go as smoothly as it can?! Fingers crossed.

Your wild raccoon visual cracked me up. She is much to cute to be that ornery. (-; I hope things go better than expected for the travel. It sounds like the reason for this trip is going to be hard enough. Sending hugs...

I hope you and the girls get lots of wonderful quality time with your Grandpa, Erika. Thinking of you and hoping your trip is easy and not stressful! Love you.

Thinking of you Erika! Hope your little ones cooperate on your trip. I so know how exhausing that can be!

Your pumpkin patch pics were adorable by the way. :)

The resemblance is crazy! Such pretty girls you make! I hope you had a safe, uneventful trip, and that you got to get some good family time in. It's so hard to travel with kids (especially without reinforcements). I never dread the actual travel, but more the prep before the travel and getting everything ready, packing, getting out of the door, etc...

They do look so much alike! You should make a photo album just of the photos you have of her with the statue. That would be awesome.
