Thursday, June 28th- Shopping In the Windy City

On Thursday, Paprika and I met up with Liz and Nicole, some friends from my online mommy group. We went shopping with our babies on the Magnificant Mile and had lunch in one of the swanky high rise malls downtown. We had a great time. I met up with Liz around Valentine's Day while she was in Long Beach visiting, so this wasn't our first time hanging out. After a long day of shopping, Liz and I headed off to do more shopping in the suburbs, where she lives. Then we all had a big sushi dinner. Paprika loved playing with the other babies and even held hands with Liz's son, Aidan, when they were in their carseats. It was so adorable.

This is the famous Chicago Watertower, which is located right in the middle of the Magnificant Mile. It was one of only two buildings to survive the Great Chicago Fire.

Paprika was so tired when we got home that night! She spent some quality time with Mr. Mustard and then she was ready for bed.
