Botanical Gardens!

Today we visited the Botanical Gardens right by our house. Paprika had a great time exploring the Japanese Gardens, and then the Chinese Gardens. Mr. Mustard has been working nights, and so we have our days together, which is just great! It means the three of us get to spend our days at the park together!







As you can tell by Paprika's dress, the weather has been very agreeable for us! It's definitely one of the perks of living in Southern California!





While we were sitting, gazing out at the gardens, an older, well-dressed woman walked by us. She came over to see Paprika, and Paprika looked straight up at her and exclaimed, "Oh, hi Grandpa!" Mr. Mustard and I were so embarrassed! Needless to say, Paprika doesn't really understand the difference between men and women yet, so we really couldn't scold her for her innocent mistake. The woman was NOT amused- and that made Mr. Mustard and I laugh even more! It was so awkward!!!
