Trying New Things...

We've been exploring our surroundings, trying to find fun, cool, indoor places to play. It's still been over 90 degrees here pretty much every day. On Sunday night, we tried out a new McDonald's, and it had a huge play structure. It was a little bit of a drive to get there, but it was worth it. Paprika had a great time playing in the tubes, and Mr. Mustard and I got to sit and relax while Paprika played. I found this experience preferable to paying for the indoor playground, especially since our last visit to the indoor playground ended in tears!

More Beachies...

Fun Day At The Beach!

We spent the whole day at the beach today. First we hit a big playground a few blocks from the ocean...and then we went to the beach. It was Ginger's first visit- she slept in the Baby Bjorn the whole time. Despite the fact it was a little overcast and chilly, we all had a great time. Paprika had the best time of all, and certainly did not want to leave! She is a beach babe if there ever was one.

We are thinking of moving to a house by the beach. It is so nice over there, and after enduring another super hot inland summer, we would just love to smell that ocean air every morning. So, it was good to get over there and check out the neighborhoods...since it's just enough of a drive that we would never make it over there otherwise.

Good day was had by all. We are all exhausted now and ready to hit the hay!

Six Weeks!

Ginger turned six weeks old on Thursday! It's amazing how much she has changed in the short time since she's been born. She is very active and alert now. She is learning how to hold her head up. She's been able to hold her head up for short stretches since she was born, but now she does it for longer periods of time.



She is smiling and giggling now. I caught her laughing the other night in her sleep. It was so cute!



She has almost outgrown her 0-3 month outfits! I am curious to see how much she weighs at her 2 month visit. I think she's gaining and growing pretty well. She's certainly not complaining, and I am noticing her clothes getting ever smaller on her.



Ginger is very curious about the world around her. She loves music, especially classical music, and she loves it when we hold her and dance. She loves being held, and she loves falling asleep in our arms. Having her has been six weeks of bliss...love her so much!
